So why only kind of crunchy? As one of my favorite sayings goes…”Ain’t Nobody Got Time for That.” One day maybe I will get it all together and be completely natural and perfectly healthy, doubtful, but one can hope. But for the present, well, I am just kind of crunchy! I buy organic as I can afford it but I also have a daily Coke addiction. I love my essential oils to care for my family as naturally as possible but hey, sometimes we need an antibiotic and inhaler! And against my husband’s wishes, I spray down every roach that enters my house with bug spray. And quite frankly, we eat out way too much, thanks to baseball season. But I’m trying! No judgement here!

My official job is a homeschool mom and wife. I also love photography, art and making natural products for our family! I realized along the way that it is easy to lose yourself in raising kids, teaching daily, and keeping up with home life. And when you lose yourself, you aren’t very happy! And you know what they say, if mama ain’t happy…..

So, I decided to do some things I love, some things that lets me be creative! I’ve taken thousands of pictures of my family and friends over the years, hundreds of little league baseball pictures, and would love to take pictures for anyone trying to capture special moments in their lives.

Blogging is my way to share what we do in school at home as well as where we explore and travel and natural living tips and recipes! And I hope to encourage other homeschoolers and moms. It isn’t an easy job! Especially if you teach children with learning disabilities. But I wouldn’t choose any other way than being home with my kids as we live life together!
